Hi, Welcome to my photo collection.
My name is Steve Houghton, "fourwings" to my online friends and I have had a lifelong interest in natural history. I began taking wildlife photos over 20 years ago using 35mm SLR's but the cost of having images developed always prevented me from making it a major hobby. After I joined the Digital photography revolution in 2002 and a casual pastime became a major obsession!
Insect photography is my main interest but I'll have a go at photographing anything wild that walks,flys,crawls or grows in front of me. Most of my images are taken in my home county of Leicestershire, but I do travel to other areas of the country in search of specific species that I want to see and photograph. I have always had an ethical approach to wildlife photography and will not cause disturbance to anything just to get its photograph.

I have just started my own site www.wildaboutwildlife.co.uk and whilst look for inspiration I found your site.
I have to upload a lot of images to my site over the next week or so, but I hope it looks ok in the end.
